Agronomy Sales Manager

Agronomy Sales and Management are responsible for providing support and knowledge of the company’s agronomic products to customers. Their main goal is to sell those products to customers within the designated territory. They also oversee and train new staff while being responsible for their own territorial sales.

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Five years of agriculture experience
    • Managing staff or admin, operations, and sales teams
    • Developing and managing operating budgets
    • Overseeing multiple geographic sales territories
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related program
    • Experience managing an agronomy sales team or location
  • Specific objectives:
    • To develop, manage, and implement a product portfolio selling strategy in the marketplace
    • Continue training of sales staff on product portfolio and product development
    • Set and exceed sales goal on a quarterly basis
    • Maintain research-site system
    • Manage sales agent network within the designated sales territory
    • Hire and develop additional sales agents within the designated sales territory
